fine print

“fine print” is a collaborative community arts and curatorial project founded by Henry Gepfer and K. MacNeil. We seek to exhibit in-progress and completed works by artists blurring the lines between performance and printmaking.

We are deeply interested in the moments where print intersects with performance, action, music, happenings, comedy, drama, video, new media, and all the exciting betweens and beyonds. Our goal is to create a recurring space for print and adjacent artists to try new things and push themselves into unknown and experimental territories, paving the way for future generations of performative printmakers.

fine print: into the void (part II)

“fine print: into the void (part II)” took place during SGCI’s Multiple Layers conference as part of the virtual programming on March 11, 2023. For this iteration, we selected artists Jacq Garcia, Josh Graupera, and Laura Grier to present some of their performance/print work. The showcase ended with a round-table discussion.

fine print: a performance incubator with no fine print

“fine print: a performance incubator with no fine print” took place during MAPC’s conference at Kent, Ohio on October 15, 2022. Gepfer and MacNeil showcased two new collaborative works, alongside displays by Kat Chudy, Josh Graupera, Johanna Winters, and the collaborative entity small bars. This iteration took place at the Venice Cafe, where we wowed and confused the locals.
